Man dies after van and lorry crash on M26 near Sevenoaks
A man died in a crash involving two vehicles on the M26, police said. Kent Police is appealing for witnesses after the collision near the village of Dunton Green on Wednesday morning (February 14).
Officers were called at just after 7am after the incident near junction 5. The collision was between a white Iveco curtain sided van and a white Scania lorry with an orange coloured trailer.
Witnesses are now being urged to come forward. Police also want to hear from anyone who may have dashcam footage to help their investigation.
Kent Police[3] said in an appeal for information: “Officers attended alongside the South East Coast Ambulance Service and a man was pronounced deceased at the scene. Investigations into the incident are underway.
“Anyone who witnessed the incident, or who has any other information or dashcam footage of the van or lorry prior to the collision, is urged to call Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 01622 798538, quoting reference XX/JM/013/24. You can also email investigators at [email protected][4].”
