Man appears in court in connection with single-vehicle collision on A12

A MAN has appeared in court in connection with a single-vehicle collision in Witham.

On Monday, February 5, a lorry was in collision with a bridge and the central reservation on the southbound carriageway of the A12 near Witham.

The road was closed southbound between junctions 22 for Rivenhall and 21 for Witham for several hours.

The HGV driver was arrested at the scene.

Dicho Dichev, 30 of Pentland Close, Edmonton, London, appeared at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on February 6, where he admitted failing to provide a specimen.

He will appear at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on May 7.
