Live: Lorry crashes into Devon house and causes major damage

Serious damage was caused on a residential street in Barnstaple this afternoon^[1], Thursday, February 15, when a lorry crashed into a house. Photos and video taken at the scene show the property, on Ceramic Terrace, suffered significant damage to tiles on top of a ground floor bay window.

The vehicle was captured on video driving forward from the home, after colliding with the tiles over the window. Debris littered the ground below after the lorry pulled away, revealing the damage. The extent of the damage is not known at this time but is likely to cost many hundreds of pounds to repair.
