A broken down vehicle on the A12 in lane three at Broadway was causing delays stretching back down the Westlink and impacting the Nelson Street junction around 2.15pm.
There was also a crash on Glenmachan Street, outside McDonald’s at the end of Boucher Road with delays also stretching up Tate’s Avenue.
Both incidents were cleared around 3pm.
Meanwhile, a Co Tyrone road remained closed at lunch time on Saturday following an early morning crash.
The A4 Ballagh Road in Fivemiletown – the main route from Clogher – was shut in both directions between Alderwood Road and Anagh Road with diversions in place.
It was expected to be closed for a number of hours due to a Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) blocking the road.
An eastbound diversion was in place via Alderwood Road and Kells Road with the westbound diversion travelling via Anagh Road, Garlaw Road and Screeby Road.
