Lyndhurst accident: Driver in court after lorry shed load
Salwomir Kotlowski from Stevenage, Hertfordshire appeared before magistrates last month in connection with an incident on the A35 in Lyndhurst.
He is accused of driving with an unsecured load after concrete slabs fell from a lorry travelling west near the former Lyndhurst Park Hotel injuring a pedestrian.
Police closed the road and an air ambulance rushed to the scene.
The victim, a 23-year-old council worker from Totton, was taken to University Hospital Southampton[2].
She was treated for serious injuries and was in a critical condition.
The incident took place in October 2022.
Kotlowski, 40, appeared at Aldershot Magistrates’ Court but the case was adjourned at the request of the prosecution.
He is next due to appear at the same court on March 18.
