Lorry and two cars in rush hour crash in Shrewsbury

It happened on the A49 at 5pm, Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) has said.

A spokesperson for SFRS said two fire crews attended from Shrewsbury.

No people were trapped in either the cars or the HGV and crews made the vehicles safe, SFRS said.

West Midlands Ambulance Service and West Mercia Police were also at the scene and have been approached for information.
