Live as huge emergency scene at York Road bridge as trains from Leeds station cancelled

Train services are at a standstill near Leeds[1] following an incident this afternoon.

Transpennine Express, Northern and CrossCountry train services[2] between Leeds and York, and between Leeds and Selby are at a stand on Wednesday (January 17) afternoon following an incident.

Emergency services, including British Transport Police,[3] are currently at the scene of the incident, however the nature of it has not been confirmed at this time.

Our travel partner, INRIX, reported: “Services at a stand on Transpennine Express, Northern and CrossCountry between Leeds and York, and between Leeds and Selby due to emergency services dealing with an incident.”
