Recap: ‘All traffic held’ after M6 smash between cars and truck
Traffic has been brought to a stop on the M6 following a crash between two cars and a lorry. The smash has taken place on the southbound carriageway between junctions 13 and 12.
The smash had initially seen three lanes closed – before all traffic was then brought to a stop. Traffic monitoring system Inrix issued an alert on the incident just after 7.20am.
It states: “All traffic being temporarily held and stationary traffic due to accident, two cars and a lorry involved on M6 southbound from J13 A449 (Stafford South) to J12 A5 (Gailey).”
