Disruption warning issued for Suffolk as heavy wind and rain forecast

A yellow weather warning for wind and heavy rain has been issued for Suffolk[1] tomorrow.

The Met Office warning for the county, from 8am to 9pm, said a spell of very windy weather, accompanied by heavy rain in places, is likely to cause some travel disruption.

It said to expect some likely delays to road, rail, air and ferry transport, while damage to trees is possible.

It’s likely that some coastal routes, sea fronts and coastal communities will be affected by spray and/or large waves.

The Met Office said it is probable some bus and train services will be affected, with some journeys taking longer.

There could also be some short term loss of power.
