Devon trains running again after tracks flooded
Some trains in Devon were stopped due to flooding on the tracks. All services between Newton Abbot and Plymouth were cancelled as heavy rain lashes the county.
CrossCountry and Great Western Railways trains have been affected. Disruption was expected until at least 6pm.
National Rail said: “Due to heavy rain flooding the railway between Newton Abbot and Plymouth all lines are currently closed. As a result, trains may be cancelled, delayed or revised. Disruption is expected until 16:30.”
