Car involved in crash with lorry and wall

Emergency services were called to a crash involving a car and a dropside lorry on the A352 between Wareham and East Stoke this morning, January 16.

Police officers shut the road while the incident was dealt with.

One person was treated for injuries, however, not seriously.

The road reopened at around 12.30pm.

A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "We received a report at 10.41am of a collision on the A352 near to the Worgret Roundabout near Wareham involving a car and a dropside lorry.

"It was further reported that the car involved had collided with a wall.

"One person is being treated by the ambulance service for injuries that are not believed to be life-changing or life-threatening."

A spokeswoman for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said they were called at 11.02am and two crews, including one from Wareham and another from Poole[1], attended.

Dorset Police were not able to confirm if the crash was to do with ice or not.
