B1150 North Walsham Road in Sco Ruston closed by lorry fire

The closure of the B1150 North Walsham Road in Sco Ruston, near Coltishall, comes after emergency services were called at 2.30pm to a lorry on fire blocking the road.

Fire crews spent around an hour tackling the blaze before fully extinguishing the fire at 3.25pm.

Emergency services remain on the scene as the lorry is recovered.

Traffic has built in the area with especially heavy congestion northbound.

No official diversion route has been put in place with police advising people to avoid the area where possible.

There is no news on when the road will reopen.
