A47 live updates as lorry crash closes road in both directions

A crash has closed the A47 tonight (Wednesday) in both directions. The collision took place between a lorry and a car, according to traffic monitoring system Inrix.

First reported shortly before 4.30pm, the incident took place on the A47 between the A141 March Road and the B1167 for New Cut. It is not know if anyone has been injured.

Inrix said: "A47 Wisbech Road in both directions closed, queueing traffic due to accident, a lorry and a car involved from A141 March Road (Guyhirn Roundabout, Guyhirn) to B1167 New Cut (Thorney)."
