Suspect ‘hiding in bush’ arrested after crashing car following ‘domestic incident’

A suspect was found 'hiding in a bush' after crashing his car following a 'domestic incident'. He was later arrested near railway tracks in an unspecified location in the West Midlands[1].

Thermal drone cameras were used by police to locate the suspect. An infrared image of the suspect was shared on social media platform X.

Officers were seen surrounding the suspect in a short clip also shared on the platform at 3.02am this morning, December 16. WMP Eye in The Sky wrote: "After a domestic incident the suspect made off in his vehicle.

"He then crashed the vehicle and ran off. [He] thought hiding in the bushes on a railway embankment was a good idea on a cold night.

"The thermal imaging found him. Officers directed in and male arrested."
