Rod Stewart shares touching photo with sister on her 95th birthday

Legendary rocker Rod Stewart^[1] shared a snap with his sister Mary as she celebrated her 95th birthday.

The 78-year-old singer^[2], who is the youngest of five, marked the milestone day with his wife Penny and their two sons Alastair and Aiden at The Ritz Hotel.

The family posed together for a photo shared on Instagram by Penny. It shows the Stewart family dressed up for the occasion as they smile in front of a Christmas tree.

Penny, 52, captioned the family photo, taken yesterday (December 26): "Happy 95th birthday Mary, we love you".

Rod also shared a loving tribute to his big sister, simply saying "Happy 95th sister Mary" alongside a photo of the two of them in the hotel lobby.

The Maggie May hitmaker, who is a well-known diehard Celtic fan, comes from a large family and is the youngest of five siblings, with brothers, Don and Bob, and sisters, Mary and Peggy. He has gone on to have a large brood of eight children himself.
