Pensioner ‘seriously injured’ after two-car crash on A17 near Holbeach
A man in his 80s was ‘seriously injured’ in a two-car crash, Lincolnshire Police[1] says. Police were called to the Churchgate junction on the A17, by Holbeach[2], at around 3.40pm on Wednesday, December 20.
The collision involved a black Vauxhall Zafira and a black Ford Ranger. A spokesperson for the force said that a pensioner, who was travelling in the Zafira, was badly injured.
He said: “A man in his 80s, who was travelling in the Zafira, suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital.” Lincolnshire Police has now launched an appeal for information so officers can better understand what happened.

In a statement, the force asked anyone with information that could help to come forward. The spokesperson added: “We are now seeking additional information and asking anyone who saw the incident to come forward.
