M4 traffic Live: Delays after car and van crash on motorway
The M4 was blocked following a crash involving a car and a van this morning (Saturday 9). The incident happened on the westbound carriageway between J17 A350 (Chippenham) to J18 A46 (Bath / Tormarton).
The crash was first reported by traffic[1] monitoring service at 11.37am on Saturday. Traffic did build up at one point but, generally, coped well.
Google Maps showed heavy traffic on the westbound carriageway as a result of the crash. Motorists may want to leave extra time for their journeys or consider an alternative route.
