M25 and M11 live traffic updates as multiple accidents cause chaos on Essex roads
Motorists are facing disruption across the county due to a number of incidents on major routes including the M25 and M11 this afternoon (December 8). Two lanes are currently closed on the M25 heading anti-clockwise between J25 for the A10 Great Cambridge Road at Enfield and J26 for the A121 at Waltham Abbey.
Reports claim that a lorry and a car have been involved in an accident. Traffic cameras show long queues on the approach to this incident.
On the M11, meanwhile, there has been a multi-vehicle accident heading southbound near to J9 (Saffron Walden) and J8 for the A120 (Bishops Stortford). There are severe delays with one of two lanes closed.
