M25 traffic recap after multi-vehicle crash causes ‘severe’ delays near Chertsey
“Severe” delays built on the M25[1] this afternoon (December 30) following a multi-vehicle crash. The collision happened on the anti-clockwise carriageway between Junction 11 for Chertsey[2] and Junction 10 for the Wisley Interchange.
Traffic monitoring service Inrix reported the crash involved a lorry and multiple cars, with three lanes of four closed as a result. Heavy congestion has built in the area, stretching back as far as Junction 12 for the M3 Interchange.
National Highways said there were travel delays of around 50 minutes on approach. It is not yet known if there have been any injuries and the relevant emergency services have been approached for further details.
