Lincoln soapbox race announced for 2024 as team applications open
Lincoln[1]‘s first-ever soapbox race is coming to the city in 2024 with applications now open. Krazy Races is a free to attend, national award winning soapbox derby event which welcomed over 150,000 visitors and raised over £100,000 for local charities in 2023 alone.
The event comes to Lincoln on Sunday, September 15 next year and Krazy Races is now on the lookout for 20 to 40 local teams to take on the challenge. Krazy Races Lincoln will see a mixture of individual, charity and business teams design, build and then race their handcrafted soap box through chicanes, obstacles and more.
Visitors can expect entertainers and food stalls, making it a great family day out. Danny Scoffin, head of brand and strategic development for Krazy Races, said: “We are thrilled to be bringing Krazy Races to Lincoln next year and I am so excited to start meeting and working with as many amazing local businesses as possible.
