Broken down lorry in the middle of the M4 blocks two lanes causing 30 minute delays
A broken down lorry blocked two lanes of the M4 near Cardiff and caused significant delays. Traffic monitors were showing delays of up to 30 minutes in the area.
It had come to stop on the westbound carriageway between junction 32 Coryton and junction 33 Cardiff West.
Traffic monitors are showing that by 11.40am residual delays had cleared and the motorway way in that section was back to normal for the time of day.
The delays come after an accident on the eastbound carriageway near Newport this morning caused lengthy delays through the rush hour.
