Appeal to find Leah, 14, who got into car outside pub and disappeared
Police are growing concerned for the welfare of a teenage girl who went missing after getting into an old car outside of a pub in Wiltshire[1]. Officers are urging anyone who might have any information on the wherabouts of 14-year-old Leah Mullins to come forward.
Leah disappeared on Friday evening (December 29) from Sherston High Street, near Malmesbury, after stepping into an older dark coloured estate car. The teenage girl went missing wearing a T-shirt and shorts, and without a coat or other warm clothing.
She was last seen at around 7.30pm, roughly when she was reportedly seen getting into a car outside the Angel Pub. Her parents and police officers are growing increasingly concerned about her welfare and are asking anyone who can help them in their search to come forward with information.
Detective Inspector Debbie Hatch said: “We are getting increasingly concerned for Leah’s safety. We would urge anyone with information to get in touch with us as soon as possible.
“We would particularly like to speak to a man who was on Sherston High Street at around the same time Leah is thought to have got into a car. If this was you, please do get in touch, as we believe you may have information that could help us.
“We would also appeal to Leah; if you are reading this to get in touch with us straight away. You are not in any trouble. We just want to make sure that you are safe.”
Leah was last seen wearing a pair of blue fleece shorts and a white Bambi t-shirt. She is not wearing a coat and has blonde hair worn loose. Police say that she is a vulnerable child, and may appear to be confused or upset.
Anyone with information or who knows where Leah is should contact Wiltshire Police immediately by calling 999 and quoting log 263 and the date 29/12.
