A303 crash: Man dies after Mini Cooper overturns near Wiltshire

A man has died after a car overturned on the A303 just outside Wiltshire.

Emergency services were called to the major route near Thruxton, Andover, shortly before 9.30am yesterday morning (Friday, 1 December).

A red Mini Cooper was involved in a collision with a lorry, and subsequently overturned.

The driver, a man aged in his 40s from Kingsdon, Somerset, died at the scene. His family have been informed.

A spokesperson for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said: “We are appealing for anyone who was driving on the A303 and saw the collision or a red Mini and HGV in the moments before it to get in touch, particularly if you have relevant dash cam footage.
