West Midlands Ambulance Service statement after car flips over in …

West Midlands Ambulance Service[1] has issued a statement after a car flipped over[2] and closed a road in Wolverhampton[3]. The crash took place on the A460 Cannock Road, in the Fallings Park area of the city.

West Midlands Ambulance Service[4] (WMAS) said it was called to the scene at 5.59am today, November 16, and sent one ambulance and paramedics officer to the scene. Paramedics said they found a man who was the driver of the car and thankfully he did not require treatment.

Cannock Road was closed for a 0.8 mile stretch between Deyncourt Road and Park Lane, with National Express West Midlands saying that it’s 11 and 25 buses were disrupted. A WMAS spokesperson said: “We were called at 5.59am to an overturned car on Cannock[5] Road, Wolverhampton[6].

“One ambulance and a paramedic officer attended the scene. Upon arrival we found a man who was the driver of the car. He did not require assessment from ambulance staff and was discharged at the scene.”
