Three vehicle crash blocks M5 lane with traffic queuing

A crash has left one lane blocked on the M5 in Bristol this afternoon (Tuesday, November 14). Drivers face delays on the motorway southbound between junction 15 at Almondsbury Interchange and junction 16 for Aztec West.

The crash has reportedly involved a car, a lorry and a van. According to traffic monitoring system Inrix, the collision took place at around 2.30pm today (November 14).

Inrix says: “One lane blocked and queueing traffic due to accident, a lorry, a van, and a car involved on M5 Southbound between J15 M4 ( Almondsbury Interchange) and J16 A38 Gloucester Road (Aztec West). In the roadworks area. Lane one (of two) is blocked. This stretch only has two running lanes due to works.”
