The Tube, Overground and Elizabeth Line closures this weekend
Londoners hoping to travel around the city this weekend may need to make alternate plans, as certain stations will be partially or completely closed to allow TfL[1] to complete necessary maintenance.
The Tube, Elizabeth Line, and Overground will be affected at various times on Saturday and Sunday.
Therefore, we have compiled a detailed list of all the closures[2] so you can plan ahead for your travel and ensure that none of these closures catch you off guard.
Find out below which lines are affected and when.
Saturday, November 25
Elizabeth line
There will be no service[3] between Hayes & Harlington[4] and Heathrow[5], and a reduced service will operate between Paddington and Reading.
West Ealing will be served by four trains per hour, while Ealing Broadway, Southall and Hayes & Harlington will be served by six trains per hour.
Local London Underground or London Buses services can be used.
Piccadilly line
There will be no service between Acton Town and Uxbridge. Use Metropolitan line services between Rayners Lane and Uxbridge.
There will also be no service between Heathrow Terminals 2&3 and Heathrow Terminal 5.
Overground
There will be no service between Highbury & Islington and New Cross / Clapham Junction / Crystal Palace / West Croydon.
Waterloo & City
No service at all.
Sunday, November 26
Elizabeth line
There will be no service between Reading and Heathrow as well as between Abbey Wood and Stratford.
Trains will operate between Liverpool Street National Rail station and Shenfield, not serving Whitechapel.
The 12.25am Hayes & Harlington to Paddington train also will not run.
You can instead use London Underground connections between Central London and Ealing Broadway, and for Heathrow.
Replacement buses operate, but will not serve Acton Main Line, West Ealing or Hanwell, so please use local London Buses services. Iver will also not be served.
Piccadilly line
There will be no service between Acton Town and Uxbridge. Use Metropolitan line services between Rayners Lane and Uxbridge.
And no service between Heathrow Terminals 2&3 and Heathrow Terminal 5.
Overground
There will be no service between Liverpool Street and Chingford, and between Liverpool Street and Enfield Town as well as no service between Willesden Junction and Camden Road via West Hampstead.
Also no service between Highbury & Islington and New Cross / Clapham Junction / Crystal Palace / West Croydon.
Commuters can also expect a reduced service operating between Gospel Oak and Barking Riverside, with trains every 20 minutes.
Waterloo & City
No service at all.
