Popular Cambs pub with ‘huge potential’ put up for sale
A popular community pub in Cambridgeshire has been listed as looking for new tenants. The Lime Tree, in Peterborough[1], is due to undergo a six-figure investment.
The venue is being marketed by operators Stonegate Group, who describe it as “the place to be for entertainment”. They add that it has become well known for its live music at weekends and is also a place with “huge potential”.
Suitable applicants are described as people who view themselves as a true community publican. They must be able to provide an unforgettable experience for customers and consistently deliver a great atmosphere during sporting events.
A statement from the listing said: “The Lime Tree is a popular community local found on the outskirts of Peterborough. The pub is about to undergo a massive six-figure investment and locals can’t wait to get a sneak peek at their new local.
“The large pub consists of two rooms, which will work great with the installation of full Sky & TNT sports packages. As part of the investment, the pub will also get a new pool table and illuminated darts board that local teams can enjoy.
“Well known for its live music at weekends, the Lime Tree is the place to be for entertainment. Finally, the pub has a lovely beer garden that will also be given a new lease of life thanks to the upcoming investment.”
The pub is available to view on the Stonegate Group website. More details can be found here[4].
