Peterborough bridge incident leaves man fighting for life after road …
A man is fighting for his life following an incident on a bridge in Peterborough[1]. Cambridgeshire[2] Police was called to Frank Perkins Parkway due to concerns for the man’s welfare.
The road was closed for several hours with heavy traffic from Oxney Road to the A15 Paston Parkway (Eye Roundabout). Emergency services were called to the incident at around 1.10pm on Thursday (November 2).
Motorists were advised to avoid the area and use alternative routes while emergency services were on the scene. The man was later taken to hospital.
A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Police said: “The latest information we had was that the man was in a critical, but stable, condition.”
