Paramedics treat driver after Burslem crash leaves car on its side
A driver was treated for minor injuries after a two-vehicle crash in Stoke-on-Trent left one of the cars on its side. Emergency services were called to Burslem’s Scotia Road at around 10am today (November 29).
Police[1] blocked the route as officers dealt with the aftermath of the collision on the busy route[2] between Burslem[3] and Tunstall[4], near to the junction with Caulton Street. Paramedics treated one man for minor injuries.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called to reports of an RTC on Scotia Road in Burslem at 10am and sent an ambulance and a paramedic officer to the scene. On arrival, crews found a car had been in a collision with another vehicle and had ended up on its side.
“The driver, a man, was already out of the vehicle and was treated by ambulance staff for minor injuries. He did not wish to go to hospital and so was given self-care advice and discharged at the scene.”
