Oxford: Missing woman Aliya found following appeal

Thames Valley Police shared this morning that missing woman Aliya, whose surname has not been disclosed, had been located.

The force said in a public post: “We are delighted to update our followers that missing woman, Aliya, has been found.

“Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal to find Aliya.”

Police guidance states that it is not wasting police time to report someone missing and that a missing person will not be in trouble or arrested as it is not illegal to go missing.

If the missing person in in immediate danger, is a young child or vulnerable to harm, police say it is imperative to call 999.
