A driver has been injured in a collision between a lorry and a van that is causing long delays on the A428 at Hardwick today (Wednesday, November 11).
Emergency services are still at the scene and police are awaiting vehicle recovery after the incident, which happened at around 1pm. There ais traffic queuing for around two miles on the eastbound carriageway.
A Cambridgeshire police spokesperson said: “We were called with reports of a collision between a lorry and a van on the A428, Hardwick, at about 1.05pm today. Officers and ambulance are currently at the scene. Fire has also been called to release the driver of the van who was stuck and received injuries to his leg. Vehicle recovery is currently taking place.”
