Middle-aged man stabbed three times in Weston-super-Mare

An investigation has been launched after a man was stabbed three times by another man in Weston-super-Mare[1]. Avon and Somerset Police say the incident took place in Ellenborough Crescent at around 9.30pm on Sunday, October 22.

The victim, a man in his 40s, was taken to Southmead Hospital for treatment and was released the following day having received stitches. Police are now appealing for information and have released a description of a man and a woman who were in the area at the time.

The offender, a man, is described as white, aged in his late 20s or early 30s, approximately 5ft 7ins tall with light coloured hair. He was with a woman who was also aged in her late 20s or early 30s, with light brown hair.

Both people were wearing tracksuits, Avon and Somerset Police said. As part of their investigation officers have reviewed CCTV from the area and completed house to house enquiries.
