A MAN died after he was hit by an HGV and dragged for two miles under the lorry, it’s feared.
Details of the “tragic accident” emerged after mercy crews responded to a report of a pedestrian being struck.

But after reaching the scene on Edinburgh’s Gorgie Road they were alerted to theof a 62-year-old man being found on the city’s Calder Road.
The insider said: “This seems to have been a tragic accident.
A forensic tent was erected over a section of Calder Road asbegan their investigations.
“We are carrying out enquiries to establish the full circumstances of this incident and wouldto anyone who was in the Gorgie Road or Calder Road area around the time of the crash to please come forward.
