Man dies in King’s Lynn after being found injured on Hardwick …

A man in his 70s has died after being found seriously injured on a Norfolk roundabout. Emergency services including the air ambulance were called to Hardwick Roundabout, on the A47 in King’s Lynn.

He was pronounced dead at the scene and his next of kin have been informed. The road was closed for several hours while emergency services remained at the scene.

A Norfolk Police spokesperson said: “The A47 in King’s Lynn has been re-opened following an earlier incident. Police were called at 9.50am today (Friday 24 November) after a man in his 70s was found with serious injuries on the Hardwick roundabout. Road closures were put in place on the Hardwick flyover while emergency services attended, including police, the ambulance service and air ambulance.

“The man received treatment but was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed. The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be passed to the coroner. The roads were fully reopened at around 1pm.”
