Officers attended the scene dealing with the road traffic collision but police said shortly after 3pm that all lanes are now open.

No injuries have been reported.

The crash took place around 2.30pm on Monday (13 November) on the M6 northbound north of Junction 32.

A weather warning is in force for Storm Debi with National Highways North West urging high-sided vehicles[9] not to travel.

Police have advised to drive carefully due to the high winds.
