M25 driver ‘stuck in lorry’ after multi-vehicle crash near Dartford …

A driver was “stuck in a lorry” after a crash involving two other vehicles on the M25. The collision at just before 2pm led to long delays.

Police said nobody was injured in the incident but emergency services were called to the scene to assist. It saw traffic stopped on the A282 southbound between J1B and J2.

It led to six miles of congestion, with delays of 45 minutes. Queues were still reported at 5.30pm as work continued to recover the vehicles. Further delays were expected, with barrier inspections also due to take place.

Kent Police said officers were called at 1.59pm. It followed a report of a collision involving a lorry and two other vehicles on the M25 near junction 2.

A police spokesperson said: “No injuries are believed to have been sustained, however the lorry driver is reported to be stuck in the vehicle and the emergency services are at the scene assisting.”
