M11 crash in Cambridge leaves lane closed and queues
A lorry collided with the central reservation on the M11, near Grantchester[1], in the early hours of Friday morning (November 3). This has caused one lane to close and traffic to slow.
A Cambridgeshire Police[2] spokesperson said: “We were called at 1.20am today (3 November) with reports of a collision on the southbound carriageway of the M11 near Grantchester.
“An HGV collided with the central reservation, causing damage to the barrier and resulting in debris in the road. No injuries were reported.”
National Highways reported approximately 75 metres of the central reservation barrier has been damaged, with 50 metres needing immediate repair as it is flat to the ground.
