Live M25 traffic updates as crash causes 4 miles of queues near Reigate

The M25 between Reigate and Leatherhead moving clockwise has now cleared after a crash led to four miles of traffic. Congestion[1] was building and cars were left stationary.

During this time it was also reported by traffic data monitoring service, Inrix, that a lorry had also broken down on the same stretch of road where the traffic[2] was held.

Both incidents have now been cleared, and traffic should be free flowing in the area. Elsewhere, traffic is now coping well on the M23[3] after a seperate vehicle broke down, and one lane was closed moving southbound towards Gatwick airport.
