Hello and welcome to our daily digest of business, financial and economic news from around Scotland.
1 The tourism rebound following the worst of the coronavirus pandemic has helped to lift revenue at Apex Hotels.
The group, which is owned by the Springford family, said its turnover increased by 58 per cent to £74.8 million for the 12 months to the end of April this year.
That helped the company move back into the black with a £7.8 million pre-tax profit, compared with a loss of £2.7 million in the previous financial year.
Angela Vickers, the chief executive, said she is looking forward to a further strong year of trading[1] in the coming months.
