High street closed again after vehicle crashes into bridge
Cheltenham High Street is closed in both directions this afternoon (November 11). It was reported earlier that a vehicle crashed with a railway bridge[1] on the A4019 near its junction at Swindon Street.
The collision reportedly took place in the early hours of this morning. The road was closed ahead of an inspection of the bridge by Network Rail.
The latest update from traffic monitoring site Inrix said this afternoon: “High Street in both directions closed due to bridge struck by vehicle from Clarence street to Henrietta Street.”
