Driver injured in A10 crash in Harston that left road closed to traffic …
A man was taken to hospital after a multi-vehicle crash in a Cambridgeshire[1] village on Wednesday (November 8). The incident was first reported at around 11.30am.
The A10 High Street in Harston was blocked in both directions as a result of the crash involving two vehicles. Emergency services were on the scene and traffic moved slowly on the road.
One of the drivers involved was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge by ambulance. The extent of his injuries or condition are not clear at this time.
A Cambridgeshire Police spokesperson said: “We were called at 10.38am today to the High Street in Harston, with reports of a collision involving two vehicles. Officers attended, together with paramedics, and the driver of one of the vehicles has been taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital.”
A spokesperson for East of England Ambulance Service added: “We can confirm that one ambulance was sent to this incident and a man was transported to Addenbrookes Hospital for further assessment and care.”
The road reopened later in the afternoon. Traffic conditions also returned to normal.
