A major road is closed due to recovery work following a crash involving a lorry.

A crash involving a lorry on the A46 Northbound between the A1133 roundabout and Halfway House Lane, Swinderby.

Congestion to the A1133 through Collingham and the A17 is heading away from Winthorpe.

Severe delays of 18 minutes on the A46 are expected, with traffic reported to be at an average speed of five mph.

Update from 18:20pm, reports from the scene are that delays of up to one hour are being experienced.
