Crash in Somersham sees car overturn and Cambridgeshire Police …
A car ended up on its side after overturning on a Huntingdonshire Road. Police were called to Parkhall Road, Somersham at around 6.30pm on Friday (November 24) after a member of the public saw the incident.
The driver blew more than twice the legal alcohol limit at 82. Police are urging anyone who spots suspected drink-driving on the county’s roads to contact them.
A Cambridgeshire[1] Police spokesperson said: “A member of the public called us at 6.30pm yesterday to Parkhall Road, Somersham after seeing this vehicle overturn. The driver of the car was reluctant for police attendance which made sense after he blew 82 – more than twice the legal limit of 35 – at the roadside. You can report drink driving to us via our confidential hotline which is available 24/7 0800 032 0845.”
