Christmas market at Lincolnshire Showground hosted by Co-op
A Christmas[1] market event will be held by Lincolnshire Co-op with 20 local suppliers operating stalls. It will take place on Tuesday, December 12 at Lincolnshire Showground and include local producers such as The Lincoln[2] Distillery, Pipers Crisps, Lincolnshire Poacher Cheese and No.12 Chocolatier.
Members of Lincolnshire Co-op are invited to attend the event and will be able to browse from 4pm on the night. The event runs in conjunction with the society's Annual Members' Meeting at the Epic Centre.
Paul North, owner of No.12 Chocolatier in Kirton in Lindsey, said: "We’re really excited to showcase our wide range of products at Lincolnshire Co-op’s Christmas Market, it's fantastic to have the opportunity to connect with the community at a festive event.

"Christmas is a time of indulgence, and we love helping customers find the perfect treat, whether they choose to gift it to a loved one or enjoy it for themselves."
Tim Jones, sales director at Lincolnshire Poacher Cheese in Alford[4], said: "As a Lincolnshire cheese producer, we always get a fantastic response at local Christmas markets; people love gifting our cheese to friends and family all over the country.

There will also be stands at the event for each of Lincolnshire Co-op’s business areas, including food, pharmacy, funerals, travel, and post office. Members are required to book their free place for the event, whether they are attending in person or online.
If they sign in to attend the Annual Members’ Meeting at 7pm, online or in person, they will receive £5 dividend. At 6.30pm, the meeting area will open and Scunthorpe Co-op Junior Choir will sing carols for around half an hour.
Michelle Dart, membership co-ordinator at Lincolnshire Co-op, said: "We anticipate for this year’s meeting to be our biggest one yet. We have a fantastic range of local businesses planning to attend.
"As well as offering a festive feel, our online and in person event presents a fantastic opportunity to connect with our members and answer their questions."
