A303 reopens after crash involving two lorries in Somerset
A stretch of the A303 in Somerset was closed following a serious crash this morning (November 14). There was slow traffic on the westbound carriageway.
According to traffic monitoring site Inrix, two lorries were involved in the crash between Podimore and Ilchester at around 5am. The road was cleared and traffic returned to normal by 6.45am.
Inrix says: “A303 Westbound re-opened, traffic returned to normal, accident cleared from A37 (Podimore Roundabout, Podimore) to Ilchester turn off (Ilchester).”
