Woman suffers life-threatening injuries in Dorchester crash

A woman in her 70’s remains in a life-threatening condition after a serious accident on the A354 at Monkton Hill near Dorchester.
Her blue Citroen C1 car was involved in a collision with a DAF flat bed lorry at around 10.50am on Friday morning (27th October).
The lorry driver wasn’t injured.
Police are still investigating what happened and are keen to speak to anyone with relevant dashcam footage.
PC Calum Maton, of the Dorset Roads Policing Team, said:
“We are carrying out enquiries into the collision and I would ask any witnesses who have not already spoken to police to please come forward.
“I am particularly keen to speak to anyone who may have captured anything of relevance on dashcam footage.
“Finally, I know the road closure had a significant impact on motorists travelling in the area and I would like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding while we safely dealt with the incident.”
