Several bus routes have been affected by the floods.

A spokesperson for Stagecoach said: “We are watching the situation closely and will have buses running as normal as soon as possible. Check back for updates before you travel.”

Stagecoach services affected by adverse weather include

Service 1 and 1a – Newbold – Langwith:

Buses will be running from Chesterfield to Newbold only.

Service 15 Chesterfield – Dronfield:

Buses will be diverting along the main road between Unstone and Dronfield

Service 16 – Dronfield – Broomfield:

Buses will be running between Dronfield and Chesterfield only and will not be able to reach Hasland or Broomfield.

Service 43/44 Chesterfield – Sheffield:

Buses will be diverting via Blackstock .

Service 50/50A Chesterfield- Sheffield

Buses will be running from Chesterfield to New Whittington only and will not be able reach Eckington, Mosbrough or Sheffield

Service 51 Danesmoor – Chesterfield: Buses will terminate at Tupton Sales Avenue due to flooded roads.

Service 54 – Clay Cross – Chesterfield:

The 54 is not currently able to run due to flooding.

Service 65/65A – Buxton – Meadowhall

The 65/65A is not currently able to run due to flooding.

Service 74/74a – Clowne – Crystal Peaks:

Buses will be terminating at Brimington

Service 80 – Chesterfield – Sheffield:

The 80 is not currently able to run due to flooding.

Service 90 – Yewtree – Duckmanton:

Buses will be running from Hollingwood to Chesterfield only.

X17 Matlock – Barnsley

Buses will be diverting via Blackstock Road due to flooding in Woodseats. Buses will be usine Park Road instead of Boythorpe Road in Barnsley.
