Steam locomotive 45212 to pass through Lincoln and Peterborough …
To take part in the Nene Valley Railway[1] Christmas trains, LMS Black 5 No. 45212 will be on the mainline this Thursday (2nd November 2023).
Departing the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway[2] at 10:45, the locomotive, which is set to run with no support coach, will pass through Keighley[3] (10:49), Shipley (11:00), Adwick[4] (12:19), Doncaster[5] (12:26), Gainsborough[6] Lea Road (13:21), Lincoln Central[7] (13:43), Sleaford[8] (14:19), Spalding[9] (15:06) and Peterborough[10] at 15:31 before heading onto the Nene Valley Railway at 16:00.
