Runfold cyclist dies after white van crash on A31
A cyclist died after a collision with a van on the A31. It happened at Runfold on Tuesday night (October 24).
Police said a man in his 40s was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash involving a white Renault Trafic van happened on the westbound carriageway at around 8.55pm.
The man’s next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers. Police are investigating the circumstances of the incident and want to speak to anyone who saw what happened.
Surrey Police[1] said in an appeal for information: “If you witnessed the collision or were driving along the A31 between 8:30pm and 9pm and have any dashcam footage please contact us quoting PR/45230120841. Alternatively you can upload any dashcam footage to our evidence portal[2].”
