Firefighters helped with the recovery of a car which smashed into a house and damaged a lamppost. The collision on Burton's Branston Road saw the stretch closed off yesterday, with barriers remaining in place today.
As reported by StaffordshireLive[1], emergency services were called to the scene on Tuesday afternoon, October 17, where they found a Volkswagen Golf had crashed. It resulted in one man being taken to Queens Hospital.
The road was subsequently taped off. It is believed East Staffordshire Borough Council will be assessing the damage caused to the property.
